Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
- Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations and service requirements
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, garnishes, and mise en place for service efficiently and accurately
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and portion control standards are maintained at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards and procedures with meticulous attention
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and actively work to minimize food wastage
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all food products according to established protocols
- Support the team during busy service periods while maintaining focus on detail and operational efficiency
- Maintain strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and cooking methods relevant to our menu
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations and exceptional guest dining experiences
- Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills and operational knowledge
