Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked items as per standard recipes
- Support daily mise en place and ensure all ingredients are properly prepared and stored
- Always maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen
- Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry items
- Assist in stock control, proper storage, and minimizing food waste
Requirements
- Experience in pastry preparation, baking, and dessert production
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Team oriented with a positive and cooperative attitude
- Commitment to hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards
- Diploma or Certificate in Pastry, Bakery, or Culinary Arts preferred
- Basic Food Safety or HACCP certification is an advantage
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, hotel, or restaurant environment

About the Role
- As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will support the Pastry team in preparing high quality pastries, desserts, and baked items according to established recipes and standards.
- Also, you will assist in daily production, ensure consistency in taste and presentation, and maintain cleanliness within the pastry kitchen.
- And you will also help in mise en place and ensure a smooth operation during service.
