Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and present pastries, desserts, breads, cakes, and other baked products according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain the highest standards of product quality, taste, texture, consistency, and visual presentation
- Assist the Pastry Chef and Chef de Partie in developing seasonal menus, new dessert concepts, and specialty items
- Ensure all pastry products are prepared in compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Accurately measure, mix, and handle ingredients while minimizing waste and maintaining cost efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock rotation (FIFO), and report ingredient requirements to ensure adequate supplies
- Train and support Commis Chefs and junior pastry team members, promoting continuous learning and high performance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well equipped pastry kitchen, ensuring all equipment is used and maintained correctly
- Support dessert preparation and timely service during breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and special events
- Adapt recipes and create pastry items to accommodate dietary requirements and guest preferences whenever required

Role Overview
