The Data Platform Operations Manager will oversee operational support and service reliability for a data platform.
Your Role
- Manage day-to-day operations and support for the data platform.
- Lead incident triage, escalation, resolution tracking, and closure.
- Coordinate with technical teams to resolve complex platform and distributed-system issues.
- Provide stakeholder updates, status reporting, and management communication.
- Report on incidents, SLAs, risks, open issues, and service performance.
- Maintain and improve SOPs, runbooks, support documentation, and escalation processes.
- Improve operational processes and service reliability.
- Maintain ownership and accountability through issue closure.
Required Experience and Skills
- 8–15 years of experience in operations, support, or similar roles.
- Strong experience in incident management, escalation handling, and stakeholder communication.
- Good understanding of ITSM or ITIL practices, SLA management, and root cause analysis processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Structured, methodical, and ownership-driven approach to problem-solving.
