Data Platform Operations Manager

Your Role

• Manage day-to-day operations and support for the data platform.
• Lead incident management activities, including triage, escalation, resolution tracking, and closure.
• Coordinate with cross-functional technical teams to resolve complex platform and distributed system issues.
• Provide timely stakeholder updates, status reporting, and management communication.
• Support operational reporting on incidents, SLAs, risks, open issues, and service performance.
• Maintain and improve SOPs, runbooks, support documentation, and escalation processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and service reliability.
• Ensure strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through until issue closure .

`Required Experience & Skills

• 8-15 years of experience in operations, support or similar roles.
• Strong experience in incident management, escalation handling, and stakeholder communication.
• Good understanding of ITSM / ITIL practices, SLA management, and RCA processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Structured, methodical, and ownership-driven approach to problem-solving .
