The Opportunity
Support a banking and financial services client on a multi-wave migration from on-premises environments to Azure.
Work directly within the client team to support data governance through migration planning, implementation, go-live, and post-go-live enforcement.
Provide broader advisory support including business analysis, migration readiness assessment, workshop facilitation, and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement data governance frameworks, principles, policies, standards, and controls.
- Establish data ownership, stewardship, and governance operating models.
- Assess migration readiness across governance, classification, quality, lineage, retention, privacy, and controls.
- Embed governance requirements across planning, implementation, testing, go-live, and post-go-live operations.
- Facilitate collaboration across business, risk, governance, and technology teams.
- Create governance deliverables, document processes, gather requirements, and track risks and dependencies.
