Responsibilities
- Input, verify, and update shipment details, invoices, and customs documentation into internal ERP and logistics platforms.
- Match physical documents (BOLs, commercial invoices, packing lists) with digital records to ensure data integrity.
- Flag discrepancies in quantities, HS codes, or pricing and escalate to logistics coordinators.
- Generate daily/weekly data summaries for operations and finance teams using Excel, Google Sheets, or internal dashboards.
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems for audit ready compliance with UAE customs and GCC trade regulations.
- Identify repetitive data tasks and suggest automation or template improvements.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience with ERP systems
- Data entry and document verification skills
- Attention to detail
- Arabic language proficiency (preferred)

About The Opportunity
- A fast growing importer and exporter operating across the Middle East, specializing in cross border logistics, documentation, and compliance for high volume trade between Asia, Africa, and the Gulf region.
- The team manages end to end shipment data, customs declarations, invoice reconciliation, and supplier coordination with precision and zero tolerance for error.
- Seeking a detail driven Data Entry Clerk to join the operations hub in the UAE and help scale digital workflow infrastructure.
Role & Responsibilities
- Accurately input, verify, and update shipment details, invoices, and customs documentation into internal ERP and logistics platforms.
- Match physical documents (BOLs, commercial invoices, packing lists) with digital records to ensure 100% data integrity.
- Flag discrepancies in quantities, HS codes, or pricing and escalate to logistics coordinators for resolution.
- Generate daily/weekly data summaries for operations and finance teams using Excel, Google Sheets, or internal dashboards.
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems for audit ready compliance with UAE customs and GCC trade regulations.
- Support team efficiency by identifying repetitive data tasks and suggesting automation or template improvements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must Have: Excel, Google Sheets, ERP Systems, Data Entry, Document Verification, Shipment Documentation, Customs Forms, Attention to Detail.
- Preferred: Arabic Language Proficiency, Experience with UAE Customs Portal (ICP), Familiarity with Incoterms & Trade Compliance.
