Data Analyst (On-site in Dubai)

Role Overview

Problems and Scope

• Turn experiment results into statistically solid recommendations explaining what worked, what did not, why, and what to do next.
• Analyze results across segments, devices, and traffic sources to uncover insights missed by top-line reporting.
• Build self-serve experimentation infrastructure using first-party clickstream, Shopify orders, advertising platforms, and customer data.
• Check data quality issues such as bot traffic, identity stitching, and attribution gaps before reporting results.

First-Year Responsibilities

• Build and own data pipelines across Shopify, GA4, Google Ads, and BigQuery.
• Design and run end-to-end A/B tests across a high-volume e-commerce platform.
• Orchestrate agentic AI workflows to accelerate analysis at scale.
• Map user journeys across devices, segments, and traffic sources.
• Create structured hypothesis briefs with clear test criteria and success measures.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, experimentation, or CRO within e-commerce, D2C, or another high-traffic transactional website.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, and CTEs across large datasets.
• Working Python or R skills for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation.
• Proven A/B testing experience and understanding of sample sizing, significance thresholds, and common pitfalls.
• Hands-on GA4 experience and experience integrating advertising data with site analytics.
• Ability to connect to and extract data from APIs, warehouses, and flat files independently.
• Ability to communicate complex findings as concise recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive and curious approach to finding testing opportunities and root causes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with BigQuery or AWS data warehousing, scheduled queries, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with FullStory, Hotjar, Looker, Tableau, or similar behavioral and dashboarding tools.

Compensation

• Compensation is up to AED 25,000 per month, tax-free, plus a monthly performance bonus of up to 10% of base salary.
• The package includes an annual salary review and an annual return flight allowance.
