Responsibilities
- Prepare and review all shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin)
- Coordinate with government authorities (Customs, SFDA, Ports, etc.)
- Manage end to end clearance process from shipment arrival until final release
- Ensure correct HS code classification for all shipments
- Validate customs duties, taxes, and related charges
- Liaise with customs brokers and clearance agents
- Handle shipment issues such as inspections, holds, and delays
- Monitor critical shipments and reduce clearance lead time
- Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and company policies
- Provide periodic reports on clearance performance (cost, lead time, issues)
Requirements
- +4 years of experience in customs clearance, Export & Import
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, SFDA and systems (e.g., FASAH, SABER in KSA)
- Good understanding of Incoterms
- Experience dealing with government entities
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems

Role Overview
