Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise on optimal KONE product for customer needs
- Coordinate all engineering work until project handover to maintenance
- Select correct product platform and ensure competitive offer
- Responsible for correct product costings in non standard cases
- Create detailed product specifications for non standard cases
- Perform initial and revised non standard energy calculations and simple traffic analyses
- Accountable for technical site surveys and technical content of order
- Coordinate product lead times from Supply Line and local sourcing
- Ensure proposed product can be installed and maintained
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, safety requirements, and environmental regulations
- Provide technical trainings to Sales, Installation, and Maintenance as needed
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
- Minimum of five years of experience in the Elevator Industry and AutoCAD
- Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and influencing skills in English
- Excellent collaboration skills and capability to work in a multicultural team
- Capability for analytical thinking and focus on details
- Ability to work with global colleagues across different time zones and cultures
- Excellent technical understanding of elevator, escalator, and Advanced People Flow solutions is a plus

Role Overview
- CSE Engineer (Project) provides technical expertise on the optimal KONE product for the customer.
- Understands how customer needs translate into product specific requirements.
- Accountable for coordinating all engineering work until the project is handed over to maintenance.
- Takes part in non standard solutions, tendering with expertise on KONE products like elevators, escalators, and Autowalks.
Responsibilities and Key Tasks
- Collaboration with sales: Responsible for finding the optimal KONE product for non standard with Special Engineering requirements.
- Selects the correct product platform on which to make the offer and ensures the offer is Competitive.
- Product planning – Costing: Involves Supply Line, installation, maintenance, and project management to understand costs.
- Responsible for correct product costings in non standard cases, both for corporate and local Materials.
- Product planning – Specs: Accountable for detailed, custom product plans for non standard cases.
- Creates product specifications for corporate materials and local materials.
- Performs initial and revised non standard energy calculations.
- Performs simple traffic analyses.
- Accountable for technical site surveys and technical content of the order.
- Product planning – Availability and lead times: Coordinates product lead times from Supply Line and local sourcing.
- Product planning – Installability: Ensures proposed product can be installed and cost/work effort impact is considered.
- Product planning – Maintainability: Ensures product fulfills customer's product lifecycle needs.
Requirements for the Role
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering.
- Candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in the Elevator Industry and AutoCAD.
- Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills in English.
- Excellent collaboration skills and capability to work with people from different cultural backgrounds.
- Capability for analytical thinking and focus on details.
- Ability to work with global colleagues considering different time zones, language competencies, and differences in working culture.
