Responsibilities
- Own a key segment of the MaintainX curriculum, defining knowledge and skills needed and mapping to content
- Conduct continuous research into learning audience to stay current on motivations and skill changes
- Use ADDIE and SAM models to develop instructional content
- Design and execute a content maintenance strategy for curriculum segment
- Develop a content distribution plan leveraging channels like help documentation, in app guidance, and marketing collateral
- Help define the Customer Education roadmap in collaboration with broader team
- Provide consultation to other Customer Education team members on curriculum and content design
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in an education related role (Customer Education, Training & Enablement, L&D, or teaching)
- Minimum 3 years developing eLearning content
- Proficiency with video production tools such as Camtasia
- Proficiency with course authoring tools such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or Parta
- Familiarity with learning management systems
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs)
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts in accessible language
- Acute eye for detail in grammar, aesthetics, and consistency

Role Overview
- Reporting to the Senior Manager of Customer Education, responsible for designing, producing, and maintaining educational content.
- Focus on authoring content for MaintainX Academy, including courses and videos, and providing instructional design support for workshops and certifications.
What you’ll do:
- Own a key segment of the MaintainX curriculum.
- Conduct continuous research into your learning audience.

- Design and execute a content maintenance strategy.
- Develop a content distribution plan beyond the academy.
- Help define the Customer Education roadmap.
- Provide consultation to other team members.
About you:
- Minimum 5 years in education related role.
- Minimum 3 years developing eLearning content.
- Proficiency with video production tools (Camtasia).
- Proficiency with course authoring tools (Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or Parta).
- Familiarity with learning management systems.
- Experience collaborating with SMEs.
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts.
- Acute eye for detail.
Nice to haves:
- Experience with rapidly changing products, especially SaaS.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Notion).
- Familiarity with Customer Academy LMS (WorkRamp, Skilljar).
- Work experience in industrial maintenance/manufacturing.
- Experience using CMMS/EAM systems.
- Maintenance/reliability certification (CMRP, CRE).
