Role Overview

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager of Customer Education, responsible for designing, producing, and maintaining educational content.
  • Focus on authoring content for MaintainX Academy, including courses and videos, and providing instructional design support for workshops and certifications.

What you’ll do:

  • Own a key segment of the MaintainX curriculum.
  • Conduct continuous research into your learning audience.
  • Use ADDIE and SAM to develop instructional content.
  • Design and execute a content maintenance strategy.
  • Develop a content distribution plan beyond the academy.
  • Help define the Customer Education roadmap.
  • Provide consultation to other team members.

About you:

  • Minimum 5 years in education related role.
  • Minimum 3 years developing eLearning content.
  • Proficiency with video production tools (Camtasia).
  • Proficiency with course authoring tools (Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or Parta).
  • Familiarity with learning management systems.
  • Experience collaborating with SMEs.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts.
  • Acute eye for detail.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with rapidly changing products, especially SaaS.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Notion).
  • Familiarity with Customer Academy LMS (WorkRamp, Skilljar).
  • Work experience in industrial maintenance/manufacturing.
  • Experience using CMMS/EAM systems.
  • Maintenance/reliability certification (CMRP, CRE).
