Responsibilities
- Evaluate buyers' creditworthiness and financial strength to assess risk in granting credit limits
- Conduct detailed analyses of macroeconomic conditions, sector specific trends, financial statements, and qualitative data to determine risk exposure
- Prepare reports and recommendations for the Risk Underwriting department to guide decision making on credit limits and risk exposure
- Monitor and review existing risk ratings periodically to ensure accuracy and relevance, recommending corrective actions when necessary
- Utilize risk assessment tools to generate reports and alerts on exposure evolution
- Participate in information gathering and analysis to ensure comprehensive evaluation of buyer creditworthiness
- Interact with internal and external partners to enhance access to information required for credit evaluation
- Ensure credit/information reports meet accuracy, completeness, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards
- Provide regular reports to the Risk Department on exposure distribution across segments, sectors, grades, and countries
- Follow up on risk monitoring tasks to maintain up to date risk assessments
- Keep abreast of economic developments, industry trends, and best practices relevant to credit assessment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, financial risk evaluation, or a related role, preferably within banking, financial services, or insurance
- Experience with Export Credit Agencies (ECA) or similar financial institutions is highly desirable
- Professional certifications in credit, risk management, or finance (e.g., ICA, CFA, or equivalent) are an advantage
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to assess financial statements and credit risk
- Proficiency in financial modelling, credit assessment tools, and reporting systems
- Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and risk management practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines efficiently
- Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills and a focus on accuracy

Job Overview

- Salary: AED 8,000 – 10,000 per month
- Working Days: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
