Time Out Market is opening a new Abu Dhabi location with C2i under a management agreement.
The Cost Controller / Procurement will own cost control across the market, focusing on food and beverage costs, purchasing, analysis, and margin protection.
Cost Control and Analysis
- Control food and beverage costs, outlet wastage, pilferage, efficiency, and cost of sales.
- Prepare food and beverage variance analyses and communicate findings to relevant parties.
- Prepare daily and monthly cost reports, menu engineering, potential cost reports, ABC analyses, and EOQ models.
- Study weaknesses in market controls and recommend improvements.
Systems and Stock Control
- Maintain goods receipts and verify POS voids, discounts, settlements, and menu prices.
- Update recipes, pricing, and items in the stock control system.
- Run monthly food and beverage stock takes and quarterly FF&E stock counts.
- Act as custodian of fixed asset and FF&E items.
Finance Collaboration
- Complete monthly reconciliations and prepare ad hoc management reports.
- Work closely with the finance team and wider market management team.
What We Are Looking For
- Business degree with experience working within a finance team.
- Good analytical and reasoning skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to relate to an international audience.
- State-required work card and proof of eligibility to work in the UAE.
