About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost control systems and procedures
- Analyze financial data, prepare detailed cost reports, and provide insights to management
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations
- Monitor and report on budget variances, recommending corrective actions
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage departmental budgets
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulations
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assist in development and implementation of cost saving initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Participate in forecasting and long term financial planning
- Conduct cost benefit analyses for proposed projects or investments
- Provide training and guidance to staff on cost control procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in cost control, financial management, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with financial management software and inventory systems (e.g., Futurelog, Opera)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian financial regulations and practices (preferred)
- Professional certification such as CMA or CIMA (preferred)
