Sokin is looking for an organised, detail-oriented and proactive Corporate Secretary to support our global corporate governance and entity management activities.
In this role you will be a key player in helping to manage Sokin’s global legal entity structure and corporate governance processes, ensuring that statutory obligations, corporate records and governance requirements are maintained efficiently and to a high standard across the group.
You will focus on the day-to-day coordination and administration of Sokin’s corporate secretarial responsibilities, including support for global entities, corporate filings, board and committee meeting logistics, preparation and maintenance of minutes and resolutions, and oversight of statutory books and records.
You'll work closely with key stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Compliance and senior stakeholders across the business, as well as with external advisers and company secretarial service providers in multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
- Relevant experience in a corporate secretarial, governance, paralegal or legal entity management role, ideally gained in-house, within professional services, or in a fast-paced international business.
- Strong experience supporting global entities, including statutory filings, maintenance of corporate records, and coordination of governance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience preparing and coordinating board and shareholder materials, including agendas, minutes, written resolutions and related governance documentation.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, and able to manage multiple deadlines, stakeholders and workstreams effectively.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Compliance and senior stakeholders, as well as with external advisers and corporate service providers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, dependable and process-driven approach.
- Experience in financial services, fintech or another regulated international business would be advantageous.
- A relevant company secretarial, governance or legal qualification would be beneficial, but is not essential.
What Success Looks Like In 12 Months
Within 12 months, the Corporate Secretary will have established themselves as a trusted and highly reliable governance partner who has brought greater structure, visibility and consistency to Sokin’s global corporate secretarial activities.
Success in the role will include having created a well-managed approach to global entity administration, with stronger oversight of statutory filings, corporate records and governance calendars across the group.
The successful candidate will have helped ensure that board and shareholder processes are well organised, that minutes and resolutions are prepared accurately and on time, and that key governance actions are documented and tracked appropriately.
They will also have built confidence across Legal, Finance and senior leadership by providing responsive and dependable support on entity management and governance matters.
Corporate documentation will be easier to access, filing obligations will be better tracked, and governance processes will be operating with greater efficiency and discipline.
A strong outcome after 12 months would be that Sokin’s corporate secretarial function is no longer largely administrative or reactive, but is instead seen as a dependable and well-structured capability that supports strong governance across the company’s global entity footprint.
Qualifications
- Relevant corporate secretarial, governance, paralegal or legal entity management experience, ideally gained in an in-house legal team, professional services firm, corporate services provider or another fast-paced international environment.
- Strong experience supporting global entities, corporate filings, board and shareholder governance processes, and statutory record maintenance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience preparing or coordinating board minutes, written resolutions, meeting packs and governance documentation.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders effectively.
- Comfortable working across multiple jurisdictions and coordinating with external advisers, corporate service providers and internal teams.
- Strong document management and process management capability, with an ability to maintain accurate and well-structured records.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and dependable approach.
- Experience in financial services, fintech or another regulated international business would be advantageous.
- A relevant governance or company secretarial qualification would be beneficial but is not essential, depending on experience.
