- Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts for engineering and construction projects
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontracts, ensuring alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and project objectives
- Monitor contract performance, manage change orders and variations, track key milestones and deliverables
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, procurement, finance, and legal to resolve issues
- Support bids and proposals, and provide clear contractual guidance
- Maintain accurate documentation, prepare reports for leadership
- Support claims management and dispute resolution in a timely, structured manner
Requirements
- Strong contract management skills, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering complex engineering and construction contracts
- Solid knowledge of commercial terms, risk management, and claims or dispute resolution processes in large infrastructure or construction projects
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (project management, engineering, procurement, finance, legal) on project delivery and compliance
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, Business, Quantity Surveying, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., IACCM/WorldCC, RICS, PMP) is a plus
- Proficiency in contract management tools and MS Office suite; familiarity with ERP or project management systems is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to work on site in a fast paced project environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with high attention to detail
- Experience in large scale engineering, construction, or energy projects, preferably within the Middle East region; fluency in English is required

Role Description
- The Contract Manager is a full time, on site role based in Riyadh, responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of contracts for engineering and construction projects.
- The person in this role will draft, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontracts, ensuring alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and project objectives.
- Day to day responsibilities include monitoring contract performance, managing change orders and variations, tracking key milestones and deliverables, and identifying and mitigating contractual risks.
- The Contract Manager will collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, procurement, finance, and legal to resolve issues, support bids and proposals, and provide clear contractual guidance.
- The role also includes maintaining accurate documentation, preparing reports for leadership, and supporting claims management and dispute resolution in a timely, structured manner.
Qualifications
- Strong contract management skills, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering complex engineering and construction contracts.
