Responsibilities
- Oversee all contractual matters across major infrastructure projects
- Lead contract administration, including preparation, negotiation, and management of claims, variations, and EOT submissions
- Ensure compliance with FIDIC and other standard forms of contract
- Support project teams in managing risks and contractual obligations
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve disputes and maintain strong relationships
- Provide strategic commercial advice to senior management and project directors
- Mentor and guide commercial and contract teams across the business
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, or related discipline
- Minimum 15 years' experience in commercial/contracts management
- At least 10 years in the Middle East
- Proven track record with main contractors on large scale infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities)
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and regional legal/commercial practices
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Professional membership (MRICS/MCIArb or equivalent) highly desirable
