About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage the interior design process from concept through to project completion
- Coordinate with Development Managers, Design Managers and external consultants on all interior design matters
- Establish effective communication and collaboration between interior designers, architects, MEP consultants and other project stakeholders
- Chair design coordination meetings, prepare reports and deliver presentations to internal teams and senior management
- Identify, assess and manage design risks, ensuring issues are resolved proactively
- Lead the technical delivery of interior design packages, ensuring quality, programme and consultant deliverables are achieved
- Oversee the coordination of interior design with architectural, structural and MEP disciplines
- Prepare interior design briefs and RFPs, respond to technical queries, and evaluate consultant and contractor submissions
- Review design drawings, material selections, FF&E specifications and mock ups to ensure compliance with project objectives and brand standards
- Produce and communicate design concepts using hand sketches, mood boards and CAD software where required
Requirements
- 12 years of Interior Design experience, with 3+ years in managerial roles
- 2+ years working for a Real Estate Developer
- 2+ years of working experience in GCC
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field
- Proven track record leading hospitality development design projects from start to finish
- Proficiency in researching and selecting appropriate materials and finishes
- Deep technical knowledge of the interior design process
- Strong creative drive with a keen eye for innovation and trends
- Leadership ability coupled with effective team motivation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Position Overview
- Our client is a Real Estate Development company specialising in hospitality & high end residential projects.
- The Interior Design Manager position will lead Interior Design projects from start to finish, reporting to the company’s Senior Design Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the interior design process from concept through to project completion, ensuring designs are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate with Development Managers, Design Managers and external consultants on all interior design matters.

Requirements
- 12 years of Interior Design experience, with 3+ years in managerial roles.
- 2+ years working for a Real Estate Developer
- 2+ years of working experience in GCC
- A proven track record leading hospitality development design projects from start to finish.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field; Master’s degree or PMP is advantageous.
- Proficiency in researching and selecting appropriate materials and finishes within budget and design goals.
- Deep technical knowledge of the interior design process from brainstorming to product.
- Strong creative drive with a keen eye for innovation and trends.
- Leadership ability coupled with effective team motivation skills.
- Adaptability and reliability in fast paced environments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Arabic speaking is preferred.
