Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of urban design, masterplanning, and public realm projects across a range of development sectors
- Develop creative, sustainable, and context led design solutions from concept through to delivery
- Prepare masterplans, urban design frameworks, reports, presentations, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with architects, landscape architects, engineers, clients, and government authorities to ensure successful project delivery
- Undertake site analysis and integrate land use, mobility, infrastructure, landscape, and public realm into cohesive design proposals
- Ensure designs meet UAE planning requirements, sustainability standards, and project objectives
- Support project management, mentor junior team members, and contribute to design quality across the team
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related discipline
- 6–8 years' experience in urban design and masterplanning, preferably within the UAE or GCC
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept design, technical capability, and project delivery
- Good knowledge of UAE planning authorities and approval processes
- Professional membership (RIBA, RTPI, ULI or similar) is advantageous

The Role
- The Senior Urban Designer leads the design and delivery of high quality urban developments, from large scale masterplans to public realm and streetscape projects.
- They coordinate design teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure projects progress successfully from concept to delivery.
