Role Overview
Lead project management commissions for construction and refurbishment projects in the expanding Birmingham Real Estate team.
Manage commissions of varying scale and value, normally up to £40 million depending on project complexity.
Advisory projects, such as urban regeneration funding, may involve larger overall project values.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management service delivery.
- Act as the day-to-day client interface and achieve time, cost, and quality targets.
- Advise at project conception on approaches to achieve client objectives.
- Establish project success criteria for time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
- Manage quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
- Establish governance, processes, systems, and detailed project plans.
- Advise on resource procurement and lead cross-functional project teams.
- Monitor performance using KPIs and manage change control.
- Monitor project finances and manage information flow between project teams and clients.
- Produce progress reports and interface with clients and consultants throughout the project.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing construction or refurbishment projects.
- Experience in a consultancy environment is preferred.
- Degree in a relevant discipline is desirable.
