Capital Projects Consulting Practice

Protiviti’s Capital Projects Consulting services help government and private-sector clients strategize, plan, deliver, and operate infrastructure assets effectively.

The practice supports risk mitigation, leading-practice processes, institutional governance, and project-level governance for capital decisions.

The team includes engineering, project management, business administration, and chartered accounting professionals across the UAE, KSA, Bahrain, and Qatar.

Role Overview

Protiviti is seeking Business Process Improvement professionals to support and lead mandates across the Middle East.

The role focuses on business process improvement and change improvement programs, with construction, development, and capital projects experience preferred but not essential.

The role requires proactive, accountable, results-driven professionals who can manage competing priorities and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to or lead BPI, policy and procedure, and change management assignments.
  • Conduct stakeholder consultations, as-is and gap assessments, and customer persona and journey design.
  • Design to-be processes and policies, align procedural frameworks with policies and DOAs, and develop KPIs, SLAs, forms, and templates.
  • Design and implement change management programs.
  • Independently drive assignments, lead client interactions, and conduct high-quality research-based assessments.
  • Take accountability for allocated tasks, modules, and assignments.
  • Support team communication, progress updates, management meetings, client reports, and schedules.
  • Serve clients across the Middle East and collaborate with other Protiviti service lines.
  • Build professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Support business development and promote the BPI brand across the region.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualified Engineer, MBA in Finance, CA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • 3–7 years of experience delivering BPI, policy and procedure, or change management assignments.
  • Experience with stakeholder consultation, gap assessments, process and policy design, KPIs and SLAs, forms and templates, and change management programs.
  • Construction and CAPEX development project experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of organizational functions, processes, and supporting tools.
  • Exposure to ERP modules such as Dynamics, CRM, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Proficiency with MS Visio, ARIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • ARIS knowledge and certification are valuable additions.
  • Lean Six Sigma or related certification is preferred.
