- Prepare baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project execution plans

- Identify schedule variances, delays, and potential risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Perform critical path analysis and evaluate the impact of changes on project completion
- Prepare recovery schedules and mitigation plans for delayed activities
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors to obtain progress updates
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, schedule updates, S curves, and performance dashboards
- Analyze resource requirements and recommend efficient allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials
- Support tender planning by developing preliminary project schedules and resource plans
- Review contractor and subcontractor schedules for compliance with project requirements
- Assist with extension of time (EOT) claims, delay analysis, and planning related contractual documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related engineering discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and other project controls software
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, scheduling techniques, and project controls
- Knowledge of critical path method (CPM), earned value management (EVM), and resource planning
- Currently based in UAE
- With valid driving License
- Able to attend personal interview in Abu Dhabi
- Professional certifications such as PMP or Primavera P6 are an advantage

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Construction Planning Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi.
- The Construction Planning Engineer will develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate production planning, and align resources to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- The role involves monitoring progress, supporting project control activities, and analyzing data.
