Purpose and Scope

Experience and Qualification

• Minimum 5–10 years of onsite experience on major projects is required.
• Relevant sectors include infrastructure, real estate, power, steel, and chemical projects.
• Experience on at least two significant major projects similar in size and scope is required.
• A graduate or postgraduate qualification in an engineering discipline is required.
• A postgraduate degree or diploma in construction management is preferable.

Construction Delivery

• Monitor site health, safety, and environmental performance and verify contractor protection of workers.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors and administer contracts for assigned project areas.
• Coordinate design deliverables to support continuous and efficient construction.
• Serve as the point of contact for contractors in the assigned project area.
• Communicate deficiencies and non-conformances to the Construction Manager.

Project Controls and Coordination

• Assist with construction estimating, scheduling, reporting, cost control, measurement verification, and invoice certification.
• Lead bill certification, measurement of quantities, extra-scope resolution, change management, and RFI management.
• Provide inputs for daily, weekly, and monthly progress reporting and develop catch-up plans as needed.
• Participate in constructability planning and provide construction input for proposals and business improvement activities.

Safety and Administration

• Plan and chair project safety meetings and assist with incident investigations and reporting.
• Participate in TCE safety programs and initiatives.
• Act as the administrative spokesperson during the Construction Manager’s absence.

Work Environment

• The work may be based in company offices or at client sites.
• The role requires onsite experience and construction project-site coordination.
