Position Scope
The role is part of an engineering team providing services to large and small projects.
The position performs engineering in a 3D environment and produces 3D models and 2D drawings under the supervision of the Project Engineer.
The work covers conceptual and detailed engineering for multidisciplinary projects.
Experience and Qualification
- The position requires one to four years of experience in a relevant design discipline.
- Experience in engineering packages is required.
- A graduate or postgraduate qualification in an engineering discipline is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Engineer with project scope, quantities, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
- Produce calculations, reports, specifications, technical recommendations, 3D models, and 2D drawings in an integrated engineering environment.
- Maintain engineering deliverables using 2D and 3D software and perform conceptual layout work.
- Develop design details, prepare or extract drawings, and check deliverables before release.
- Coordinate with discipline and other-discipline engineers and review clash detection in integrated models.
- Participate in engineering reviews, review vendor documents, archive project records, and provide inputs to other disciplines.
