- Develop new conference ideas and program content through meetings and tele research with key experts
- Liaise and network with speakers, exhibitors and delegates on site
- Assist with onsite duties as required for the duration of the event
Requirements
- Minimum two years experience in conference production
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Commercial awareness

Job Description
- The team is looking for a Conference Producer who can demonstrate they have their finger on the pulse of our fast paced and ever changing industry.
- The successful candidate will be confident in speaking to expert speakers from all over the world and selling the unique opportunity to showcase their knowledge and expertise at our event.
- With meticulous organisational skills, you will be responsible for managing the speakers and order of show on site at the event.
Key Responsibilities Conference Production
- Produce high level relevant industry conference programs.
- Liaise with key professionals/institutions and companies in the production of conference programs.
- Engage with recommended speakers and confirm their attendance.
- Ensure the speaker database is updated to provide current and accurate speaker lists and files for event management.
- Prepare and communicate creative brief documents to the Marketing team.
- Assist in the provision of leads to the sponsorship team and attend sales meetings as appropriate.
- Mentor other conference producers within the team.
- Conduct a post show analysis of the event including job title analysis.
Key Responsibilities Market Research and Industry Networks
- Effectively research topics with relevant industry professionals and the target market.
- Develop new conference ideas and program content through meetings and tele research with key experts.
- Collaborate with the Director and other sales team members to generate ideas for enhancing the conference portfolio.
- Identify key opinion leaders/institutions and companies related to the event.
- Maintain existing and build new relationships develop a conference with topics and speakers.
- Look at additional add ons and other ways of attracting more delegates i.e. workshops, poster sessions, partnering with associations etc.
Key Responsibilities Speaker & Delegate Liaison
- Liaise and network with speakers, exhibitors and delegates on site to maintain customer service standards, resolve queries and gain feedback.
- Assist with onsite duties as required for the duration of the event, which may require longer working hours.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Essential Background Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Minimum two years experience in conference production.
- Speaks and writes clearly and fluently in English to both individuals and groups.
- Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Commercial awareness.
- Research based role.
- Copywriting skills.
- Brand and market awareness.
Desirable Background Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Related industry/event knowledge in the investment and startup ecosystem, gaming esports and security sectors.
- Conference production role.
