- Own and develop the compliance framework for Airwallex's UAE entities
- Serve as primary compliance contact with regulators (DFSA, CBUAE)
- Manage day to day AML interactions, examinations, and ad hoc requests
- Handle enhanced due diligence approvals and name screening escalations
- Develop and maintain an effective AML and compliance program
- Provide expert advice to Commercial and Operations teams
- Manage monitoring and reporting process for senior management
Requirements
- 6 8 years of financial crime and investment compliance experience in a UAE regulated financial institution
- Deep expertise in UAE AML/CTF laws and DIFC/ADGM Rulebook
- Current resident of the UAE
- Written and verbal fluency in English

What you'll do
- Own and develop the compliance framework for Airwallex's UAE entities.
- Serve as primary compliance contact with regulators (DFSA, CBUAE).
- Provide day to day management of AML interactions and examinations.
- Manage BAU tasks including EDD approvals and name screening escalations.
- Develop and maintain an effective AML and compliance program.
- Provide expert advice to Commercial and Operations teams.
- Work with Financial Partnership team on external enquiries.
- Develop monitoring and reporting process for senior management.
- Design and execute reports on Compliance performance and KRIs.
- Drive design and monitoring of internal controls.
Who you are
- Minimum 6 8 years of financial crime and investment compliance experience in UAE regulated institution.
- Deep expertise in UAE AML/CTF laws and DIFC/ADGM Rulebook.
- Current resident of the UAE.
- Written and verbal fluency in English.
- Ability to multitask and handle challenging priorities.
- Credible stakeholder engagement skills.
