- Own Mintlayer's day to day social media strategy and execution: X, LinkedIn, Telegram, and Discord
- Build and maintain the community newsletter cadence: content calendar, drafting, and distribution
- Manage community health during protocol events: launches, incidents, and milestone announcements
- Bridge between the technical engineering team and the community with accessible protocol update language
- Monitor community sentiment and escalate material concerns
- Manage the Discord server structure, moderation standards, and ambassador relationships
- Coordinate with the Product Marketing Manager on product launch community activation plans
Requirements
- 3+ years crypto community or communications role
- Deep familiarity with Bitcoin and DeFi communities and their culture
- Strong writing with authentic voice — corporate speak is disqualifying
- Experience managing community during sensitive periods: downturns, launch delays

- Mintlayer's community spans Bitcoin advocates on X, DeFi users on Telegram, protocol developers on Discord and GitHub, and institutional observers on LinkedIn.
- The Comms Lead is the human voice that connects all of them to what the protocol is actually doing.
What You Will Own
- Own Mintlayer's day to day social media strategy and execution: X, LinkedIn, Telegram, and Discord
