Job Overview

  • The Communications & Content Specialist is responsible for managing internal, external, and corporate communications, ensuring clear, consistent, and strategically aligned messaging across the organization.

Key Accountabilities

  • Uphold and reflect company values across all communications and messaging
  • Define and maintain tone of voice, messaging frameworks, and communication standards
  • Develop and manage content for internal and external communication channels
  • Prepare and upload content onto intranet/website
  • Responsible for copying and messaging on social media
  • Develop executive communications, including presentations, speeches, and key messaging
  • Shape campaign narratives and guide content direction
  • Support departments with structured, strategic content
  • Ensure messaging clarity, consistency, and alignment with business objectives
  • Act as a central editorial authority across all communication outputs
  • Review and refine content to ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy
  • Ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines and corporate messaging standards

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within engineering, construction, infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, or government sectors
  • Proven experience in managing corporate communications and content across multiple channels
  • Strong experience in developing executive communications, including presentations, speeches, and messaging

Skills

  • Strong writing, editing, and content development skills
  • Experience managing digital content platforms (intranet, website)
  • Familiarity with social media content management
  • Understanding of corporate communications and messaging framework
  • Strong content planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple content streams and deadlines
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
  • Proactive and solution driven mindset
