- Produce breads, rolls, croissants, pastries, and other baked goods according to standard recipes
- Support Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie in daily bakery operations
- Prepare mise en place and ensure all ingredients are ready for production and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section and equipment

Role Overview
- As a Commis I – Bakery, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, production, and presentation of bakery items including breads, viennoiserie, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Working closely with senior bakery chefs, you will ensure high standards of quality, consistency, hygiene, and presentation are maintained.
- This role requires solid bakery skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced professional bakery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, mixing, shaping, proofing, baking, and finishing of bakery products.
- Produce breads, rolls, croissants, pastries, and other baked goods according to standard recipes.
- Support Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie in daily bakery operations.
- Prepare mise en place and ensure all ingredients are ready for production and service.
- Ensure consistency in quality, taste, texture, and presentation of bakery items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section and equipment.
- Follow HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients and finished products using FIFO procedures.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Assist in controlling portion sizes and minimizing food waste.
- Support production schedules to ensure timely delivery of bakery items.
- Assist in training and guiding Commis II when required.
