Overview
- Prepare and portion ingredients for Asian cuisine dishes according to standardized recipes and chef specifications
- Assist senior chefs in the preparation, cooking, and plating of Asian dishes with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation, adhering to all food safety and hygiene protocols
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including woks, steamers, fryers, and other specialized Asian cooking tools
- Support the kitchen team in executing daily meal services while managing time effectively during peak hours
- Follow all food handling procedures and comply with UAE food safety regulations and organizational standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and proper storage of ingredients
- Continuously learn and develop Asian culinary techniques under the guidance of senior kitchen staff
- Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen management
