- Prepare and assemble cold food items, including salads, sandwiches, cold appetizers, dressings, and garnishes
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cold kitchen area, equipment, and workstations
- Properly store, label, and rotate food products in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and reporting stock requirements
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food preparation tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or culinary training is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of cold food preparation techniques
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

Job Summary
- An energetic and detail oriented Commis Chef – Cold Section is required to support the kitchen team in preparing high quality cold dishes and ensuring efficient daily operations.
