Overview

  • The Red Sea is seeking passionate and motivated Saudi Nationals to join our Culinary team as Commis Chefs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Support daily mise en place preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation.
  • Follow instructions from senior chefs and support the team during service periods.
  • Prepare ingredients including vegetables, meats, seafood, sauces, and garnishes as required.
  • Assist with banquet functions, special events, and seasonal culinary activations.
  • Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked.
  • Adhere to HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Properly store, label, and rotate food products using FIFO procedures.
  • Support inventory control through proper handling and minimising food waste.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance issues, and product shortages promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and care of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
