Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing authentic Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, salsas, and sauces
- Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations
- Ensure food preparation meets quality and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety & hygiene guidelines
- Assist with stock rotation and storage (FIFO)
- Prepare ingredients (cutting, marinating, portioning) as directed
Requirements
- Previous experience in Mexican cuisine is preferred
- Basic knowledge of Mexican ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Immediate availability is a plus
