- Ensure consistency, high quality food presentation, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards
- Prepare mise en place for all hot sections including sauces, marinades, garnishes, and accompaniments
- Monitor inventory levels for hot kitchen ingredients and coordinate restocks as necessary
Requirements
- Proven experience in a hot kitchen or similar culinary environment
- Skilled in various cooking methods including grilling, roasting, baking, pan frying, deep frying, and sautéing
- Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and stoves

Role Description
- This is a full time on site role for a Commis Chef – Hot Kitchen, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Hot Kitchen Staff will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of hot dishes as per Quince’s standards, including grilled, roasted, baked, sautéed, and fried items. The role in
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a hot kitchen or similar culinary environment.
- Skilled in various cooking methods including grilling, roasting, baking, pan frying, deep frying, and sautéing.
- Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and stoves.
- Preparing mise en place for all hot sections including sauces, marinades, garnishes, and accompaniments.
- Ensuring all dishes are prepared according to company recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Monitoring cooking temperatures and times to ensure consistent food quality.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all hot kitchen workstations.
- Ensuring all cooking utensils and equipment are sanitized before and after use.
- Managing food order slips accurately and ensuring timely service during busy periods.
- Monitoring inventory levels for hot kitchen ingredients and coordinating restocks as necessary.
- Disposing of expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift.
- Adhering strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
