Role Overview
Mandi Man is seeking a hardworking and reliable Commis Chef to support its kitchen team.
The role supports food preparation, cleaning, food safety, stock organization, and general kitchen operations.
Food Preparation
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation.
- Wash, peel, cut, chop, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients as instructed.
- Follow recipes, preparation instructions, and portion requirements.
- Receive, check, and organize kitchen supplies.
Kitchen Cleanliness and Hygiene
- Maintain clean and hygienic kitchen areas, workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Clean and sanitize preparation surfaces regularly.
- Wash kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment.
- Dispose of food waste and garbage properly.
Food Safety Requirements
- Follow company food safety and HACCP procedures.
- Maintain personal hygiene and wear the required uniform and PPE.
- Prevent cross-contamination during food preparation and handling.
- Follow temperature control and food storage procedures.
- Report food safety, hygiene, or equipment issues to the supervisor.
Kitchen Support
- Assist chefs during food preparation and service.
- Keep refrigerators, storage areas, and kitchen sections organized.
- Assist with stock arrangement and rotation using FIFO principles.
- Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef or Supervisor.

Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,000 to AED 1,500 per month.
Workplace
- The work location is in person at the employer's Al Ain location.
