- Prepare ingredients, cook hot menu items according to recipes and standards
- Assist in plating and portioning of meals for delivery

- Check stock levels and organize mise en place
- Contribute to efficient workflow to support PrepHero’s healthy meal plans
Requirements
- Strong Food Preparation and Cooking abilities, including basic Culinary Skills in hot kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and strict adherence to Hygiene practices
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with chefs, nutritionists, and other team members
- Previous experience in a hot kitchen or similar role in a restaurant, catering, or meal prep environment is preferred
- Understanding of healthy cooking techniques and interest in nutrition focused meal preparation
- Ability to follow standardized recipes, work efficiently under time constraints, and meet production targets
- Willingness to work flexible hours aligned with kitchen production schedules
- Relevant culinary diploma or certification is an advantage but not mandatory

Role Description
- The Commi 1 (Hot section) role is a full time remote position responsible for supporting hot kitchen operations and ensuring consistently high quality food preparation.
- This role includes preparing ingredients, cooking hot menu items according to recipes and standards, and assisting in the plating and portioning of meals for delivery.
- The Commi 1 will follow food safety and hygiene procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and coordinate with chefs and kitchen team members to meet production targets.
- Daily tasks also involve checking stock levels, organizing mise en place, and contributing to efficient workflow to support PrepHero’s healthy meal plans.
Qualifications
- Strong Food Preparation and Cooking abilities, including basic Culinary Skills in hot kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and strict adherence to Hygiene practices in a professional kitchen.
