Qualifications
- Strong skills in butchery and meat processing, including cutting, trimming, deboning, and portioning.
- Hands on experience working with poultry products and applying appropriate preparation and safety techniques.
- Proficiency in handling and preparing seafood, with knowledge of proper cleaning, storage, and quality standards.
- Customer service mindset, with the ability to support internal teams and uphold PrepHero’s commitment to quality and reliability.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and best practices in hygiene and sanitation.
- Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar food production role, ideally within a catering, restaurant, or meal prep environment.
- Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen setting, with strong attention to detail and consistency in portion control.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and safely handle equipment such as knives, slicers, and other cutting tools.
- Basic understanding of nutrition or healthy eating principles is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts as required by production schedules.
