Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Dubai for a Chef specializing in the Hot Section.
The Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking hot meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene, supervising kitchen staff, and adhering to food safety standards.
Other responsibilities include menu planning, quality control of ingredients, monitoring kitchen supplies, and ensuring that meals are prepared on schedule to meet delivery timelines.
Qualifications
- Expertise in hot section cooking techniques, food presentation, and recipe development
- Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and kitchen inventory management
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle high-volume meal preparation
- Ability to lead and collaborate with kitchen staff in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Creative and innovative approach to meal preparation, particularly for healthy and dietary-specific meals
- Experience in meal planning for diverse dietary requirements, including high-protein and plant-based options
- A culinary degree or certification is preferred, but relevant experience is also highly valued
