About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead all site commercial and quantity surveying activities from project commencement through final account settlement
- Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Administer the main contract and subcontract agreements, ensuring contractual compliance
- Review and evaluate variations, claims, extensions of time, and payment applications
- Prepare and negotiate subcontract packages, certifications, and final accounts
- Monitor project cash flow, cost performance, and commercial risks
- Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Engineers, Planning Team, Procurement Team, Consultants, and Client on all commercial matters
- Ensure accurate measurement of works and timely preparation of monthly valuations
- Identify cost saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and contractual obligations
- Prepare commercial reports and provide recommendations to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 15 years of GCC construction experience, including at least 5 years as a Commercial Manager on site
- Proven experience managing commercial activities for large scale building construction projects
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, contract administration, cost management, claims, and final accounts
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying/commercial management software
- UAE experience is mandatory
- Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred
