- Optimise the Editions restaurant portfolio (product market fit), holding a mid term vision for the portfolio in each site
- Identify potential new leads for Editions
- Negotiate commercial terms with strategic existing and new partners
- Coordinate across different functions (Commercial, Sales, Site Ops, Marketing) to grow the Editions business
- Define and execute initiatives to improve network level and site level occupancy and drive growth for Editions partners
- Define and execute initiatives to improve Editions' profitability
- Work with finance team to build the Editions business plan and forecast
- Report on Editions P&L and initiatives to senior management through recurring business reviews
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality and/or FMCG, or related field
- 2+ years of managerial experience, coaching, and developing individuals/teams
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales, negotiation, and deal structuring
- Financial fluency, with experience in managing P&L's, balance sheets, and budgets
- High entrepreneurialism and comfort with business development
- Strategic thought leadership, with ability to build and communicate 6 12 month business plans
- Proficiency in stakeholder management (horizontally and vertically)
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Clear and concise communicator, both verbal and written
- Preferably, an understanding of the restaurant sector in the UAE/Middle East

About the Role
- The Commercial team sits at the centre of Deliveroo’s marketplace, shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide.
- We are looking for a Commercial Lead Editions to join our UAE team in a hybrid role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Optimise the Editions restaurant portfolio (product market fit), holding a mid term vision for the portfolio in each site.
- Identify potential new leads for Editions.
- Negotiate commercial terms with strategic existing and new partners.
- Coordinate across different functions within the business (Commercial, Sales, Site Ops, Marketing) in order to grow the Editions business.
- Define and execute initiatives to improve network level and site level occupancy and drive growth for Editions partners.
- Define and execute initiatives to improve Editions' profitability.
- Work with the finance team to build the Editions business plan and forecast.
- Report on Editions P&L and initiatives to senior management both locally and in HQ through recurring business reviews and docs.
What You’ll Need To Thrive
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality and/or FMCG, or related field.
- 2+ years of managerial experience, coaching, and developing individuals/teams.
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales, negotiation, and deal structuring.
- Financial fluency, with experience in managing P&L's, balance sheets, and budgets.
