Job Description
Operate and manage CNC machinery for production work involving drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up CNC machines and translate engineering drawings into production dimensions.
- Monitor machine execution, adjust settings, and troubleshoot issues to reduce downtime.
- Load and unload materials, perform daily maintenance and cleaning, and monitor coolant.
- Complete production, quality, controlled-document, and SFC downtime records.
- Inspect products through in-process measurement and visual inspection against customer requirements.
- Monitor scrap levels and set up cutting tools using heat-shrink fitting and dynamic tool balancing.
Qualifications and Skills
- Trade school accreditation, high school diploma, or equivalent qualification is required.
- An engineering certificate or diploma is advantageous.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the assigned area.
Experience
- At least three years of experience operating CNC milling machines, including milling and turning.
- Proven ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
