About the Role

Responsibilities
- Build trust and maintain customer relationship with data center business partners to execute a comprehensive security strategy.
- Plan, develop and implement security plans and programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Incident Management.
- Coordinate site investigations with the Global Intelligence and Investigative team.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology.
- Perform continual risk analysis for data center sites with respect to crime, terrorism, workplace violence, and natural/man made disasters.
- Provide leadership and best practices on security policy and practices to on site data center management.
- Identify vulnerabilities early and design/implement strategy to close security gaps.
- Provide leadership and guidance to AWS Data Center staff and contract security staff.
- Support regional and global security leadership in conducting investigations of significant threats.
- Develop and implement security standards and procedures for contract site security coordinators.
- Liaise with local, state, federal, and international law enforcement agencies.
- Travel 25% both domestic and international.

- 10+ years of physical security experience
- 5+ years of security management experience
- 5+ years of leadership role experience
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Arabic
- Open to Saudi Nationals only

Overview
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides storage, compute and other solutions to customers globally.
- Datacenter Security Team provides physical security solutions to protect AWS personnel, facilities and customer information.
- The Cluster Security Manager will implement and verify compliance with security procedures, standards and policies.
Responsibilities
- Build trust, establish and maintain customer relationship with data center business partners to execute a comprehensive security strategy.
- Responsible for planning, developing and implementing security plans and programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Incident Management.
- Maintains extensive knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology.
- Responsible for performing continual risk analysis for the data center sites.
- Responsible for providing leadership and best practices on security policy and practices to on site data center management.
- Looks around corners and identifies vulnerabilities early and designs and implements a strategy to close existing or emerging security gaps.
- Provides leadership and clear guidance and direction to AWS Data Center staff as well as contract security staff.
- Supports regional and global security leadership in conducting investigations of significant threats.
- Develops and implements security standards and procedures for all contract site security coordinators.
- Liaisons with local, state, federal, and international law enforcement agencies.
- 25% travel required both domestic and international.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of physical security experience
- 5+ years of security management experience
- 5+ years of leadership role experience
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Arabic
- The position is open to Saudi Nationals only
