Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Engineering Supervisors, Technicians, and support teams across the cluster
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all hotel facilities, equipment, and engineering systems
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, fire and life safety requirements, HACCP standards, and environmental guidelines
- Plan and manage renovation, refurbishment, and capital improvement projects
- Monitor utility consumption and implement energy conservation and sustainability initiatives
- Prepare and manage engineering budgets while controlling maintenance and contractor costs
- Build strong partnerships with contractors and service providers to ensure quality and timely project delivery
- Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other operational departments to support seamless hotel operations
- Maintain engineering documentation, audit records, and compliance reports
- Provide technical expertise and strategic recommendations to hotel management on asset performance and operational improvements
Requirements
- Experience leading engineering teams in a hospitality or multi site environment
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and asset reliability
- Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations, fire and life safety, HACCP, and environmental guidelines
- Experience managing renovation and capital improvement projects
- Strong budget management and cost control skills
