Role Summary

Cloud and Infrastructure Operations

• Operate and administer Azure IaaS/PaaS and AWS workloads while meeting availability, performance, and SLA requirements.
• Provision and maintain Azure and AWS virtual machines, storage accounts, and endpoint-protection agents.
• Integrate and validate on-premises-to-cloud backup and disaster-recovery solutions.
• Administer and harden Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 and Linux virtual machines.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and changes through ITIL processes.

Networking, Identity, and Governance

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot VNet, VPC, NSG, ASG, ExpressRoute, VPN, and Direct Connect connectivity.
• Manage Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, IAM, Privileged Identity Management, and privileged-access controls.
• Implement Azure Policy, tagging and naming standards, cost management, and FinOps optimization.
• Monitor cloud security posture, remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, and support audits and compliance.

Automation and Documentation

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and automation using Terraform, ARM, Bicep, and PowerShell.
• Document architectures, runbooks, configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience operating Azure and/or AWS and hybrid environments.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven expertise in cloud networking, identity and access management, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Experience with cloud governance, security hardening, cost optimization, and SLA-driven ITIL managed services.
• Microsoft AZ-305 or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification is mandatory.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• AZ-500, AZ-104, and ITIL v4 Foundation certifications are preferred.
• Arabic language ability is advantageous.

Eligibility and Working Conditions

• The role is delivered onsite at a UAE government client premises.
• Candidates must be based in the UAE or willing to relocate and must have valid eligibility to work onsite at the client premises.
• Participation in ITIL-aligned incident, change, and problem management processes is mandatory.
