Job Overview

The role is responsible for pre-sales and project execution for rugged computing solutions.

The product portfolio includes rugged and semi-rugged laptops, tablets, notebooks, and related computing solutions for demanding field and industrial environments.

Location and Travel

  • The role covers Doha, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the UAE.
  • Travel within the relevant region is required.

Employment and Reporting

  • The employment type is full time.
  • The position reports to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identify rugged-computing application areas within assigned key accounts.
  • Coordinate customer trials to establish product viability.
  • Develop cost-of-ownership cases with finance and commercial stakeholders.
  • Manage procurement quotes, negotiations, and sales deal closure.
  • Prepare technical and commercial tender compliance documents and submissions.
  • Coordinate equipment delivery with internal teams.
  • Install products and provide training and demonstrations for acceptance.
  • Follow up on financial documentation and timely payment.
  • Prepare forecasts, pipeline reports, and other reports.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support for client technical requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Two to five years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor of Engineering is preferred, especially in electronics, electrical, instrumentation, communications, or a related discipline.
  • An MBA in marketing is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware theory and basic troubleshooting ability.
  • Knowledge or substantial interest in operating systems and system software.
  • Basic or intermediate knowledge of communications and data networking.
  • English is required; additional Arabic knowledge is strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to work long hours and weekends to perform the role effectively.
  • Additional certifications are welcome.
