NMC Health plc seeks a Clinic Support Assistant to assist physicians and nurses in a clinic setting, performing patient care, administrative duties, and maintaining a clean environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist Physician in clinic including accessing, adding, and modifying patient medical records under physician’s supervision
- Request necessary investigations for the patient
- Provide basic care under the direction of Physician/Registered Nurse/Midwife
- Prepare patient for examination by Doctor
- Assist Doctor and Registered nurse/midwife in certain procedures (e.g. Amniocentesis, CVS, IUT)
- Ensure clinics are clean and clinical waste is managed as per hospital/DOH guidelines
- Maintain inventory of clinical trays and surgical instruments
- Transport equipment and patient records between departments
Requirements
- Nursing Qualification with license preferred or High School Diploma
- Two years or more of experience in hospital environment / Nursing experience
- BLS certificate preferred

Duties
- To assist Physician in clinic including accessing, adding, and modifying the patient medical records under the physician’s supervision.
- Request the necessary investigation for the patient.
- To assist the provision of high quality care to patients and their families under the direction and supervision of the Physician/ Registered Nurse/ Midwifes.
- Demonstrate a range of skills to meet the needs of patients whilst promoting dignity, privacy, and respect.
- To provide a range of healthcare and non nursing duties, ensuring efficient and effective service to the ward/department at all times.
- To assist with administration and non nursing duties.
- To perform basic care under the direction of Physician/ Registered Nurse/ Midwife.
- To assist all patients who are able, towards independence and activity under the direction of the physician/Registered Nurse/Midwife.
- To provide patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients call and requests; reporting observation of the patient to the team leader.
- To assist patient transfer to other departments.
- To accompany patients who are ready for discharge.
- To transport equipment and patient records between departments.
Qualifications
- Nursing Qualification with license preferred or High School Diploma.
- Two Years or more years of experience in hospital environment/ Nursing experience.
- BLS certificate preferred.
