Talent Hunt DMCC is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for a multinational building materials trading company in Dubai. The CFO will lead financial operations, banking, and digital transformation, including ERP implementation.

- Serve as the executive sponsor and project owner for the regional implementation of a new, enterprise grade ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).
- Map complex trading workflows, data structures, and inventory modules into the new system to achieve seamless financial visibility.
- Standardize data migration and process integration between the regional trading division and global manufacturing headquarters.
- Formulate post implementation change management strategies, user training programs, and ongoing system governance.
- Manage enterprise wide liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and working capital to support fast paced regional trading activities.
- Oversee critical banking relationships, trade finance facilities (Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees), and credit risk management.
- Ensure strict financial control, accurate statutory reporting, and seamless integration of regional financial data.
- Act as the primary financial bridge between the Middle East regional office and the global manufacturing headquarters.
- Present regular financial updates, KPIs, and variance analyses to the executive board and HQ stakeholders.
- Drive commercial profitability by analysing regional trade margins, overheads, and market specific operational expenses.
- Ensure complete compliance with regional tax regulations (UAE Corporate Tax, VAT) and international financial reporting standards.
- Manage risk management strategies to safeguard corporate assets and ensure robust internal audits.
Requirements
- 12–18+ years of progressive financial leadership, including at least 5+ years at the CFO or Finance Director level within a multinational environment
- Proven track record of successfully leading at least one full lifecycle, enterprise wide ERP implementation from blueprinting through to post go live support
- Proven experience in international trade finance, multi currency environments, and matrix reporting structures
- Professional accounting designation is strictly required (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Expert level knowledge of corporate treasury, system integration methodologies, and cross border commercial frameworks

Qualifications & Ideal Profile
- Experience: 12–18+ years of progressive financial leadership, including at least 5+ years at the CFO or Finance Director level within a multinational environment. Middle aged profile is typically ideal for the required professional maturity and gravitas.
- ERP Expertise: Proven track record of successfully leading at least one full lifecycle, enterprise wide ERP implementation from blueprinting through to post go live support.
- Background: Proven experience in international trade finance, multi currency environments, and matrix reporting structures. Prior exposure to manufacturing or building materials industries is a distinct advantage.
- Qualifications: Professional accounting designation is strictly required (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA).
