Role Overview
Object 1 is seeking a Chief Financial Officer focused on project finance and banking relations to support growth and new projects in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s financial strategy, planning, and budgeting processes.
- Manage project financing for residential and mixed-use developments.
- Build relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders.
- Structure and negotiate project finance facilities, corporate loans, and other financing arrangements.
- Oversee cash flow, liquidity planning, and capital allocation across projects.
- Ensure timely financial reporting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor project financial performance, profitability, and risk management.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and decision support to executive leadership.
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, and external consultants.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- Strong background in real estate development or construction.
- Proven experience in project finance, banking relations, and fundraising.
- A strong UAE banking and financial institution network is highly desirable.
- Understanding of real estate development financial models and investment structures.
- Experience managing large-scale development projects and multiple financing facilities.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Fluent English communication skills.
