About The Role
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead the overall growth, profitability, and market expansion of the Paints & Coatings business.
The role is responsible for setting the company's strategic direction, strengthening its market position, expanding distribution channels, developing key customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across all functions.
The CEO is expected to open major business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, secure key accounts, and drive sustainable business growth while ensuring the commercial and operational teams achieve their targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's business strategy, growth plans, and market expansion initiatives.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share within the paints and coatings industry.
- Expand dealer, distributor, retail, and project sales networks across Qatar and the GCC.
- Build strategic relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, architects, government entities, and major corporate clients.
- Identify and secure large-scale projects, strategic accounts, and partnership opportunities.
- Oversee commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, retail, finance, and operational functions.
- Ensure effective product positioning, pricing strategies, and market competitiveness.
- Monitor business performance, budgets, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Lead and develop a high-performing management team aligned with company objectives.
- Drive customer satisfaction, product quality, innovation, and continuous business improvement.
- Report business performance, strategic initiatives, and growth opportunities to the Board of Directors.
- **Requirements**
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of leadership experience, including at least 7 years in a senior executive role.
- Proven experience within the Paints & Coatings, Building Materials, Construction Chemicals, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of decorative paints, industrial coatings, waterproofing products, and construction-related markets.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability.
- Experience managing sales, distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial operations.
- Strong network within the construction, contracting, consulting, and building materials sectors.
- Excellent leadership, commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- GCC market experience is Mandatory.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
